Why is it hard to review a game in a beloved series that is very good? Because of the complexity of the Total War concept. And, most importantly, Total War: Shogun 2 seems to be very, very good. The game is the latest in a long running strategy series from The Creative Assembly that began about 11 years ago and has lately suffered from a rather disappointing releases of Empire and Napoleon. The game is the second one set in Medieval Japan, focusing on the struggle between the clans for control of the title of Shogun. Most ranged units stats (Other then reload skill, and accuracy, which are SUPRISINGLY ambiguous, they only modify the projectiles attributes.) No tag exists to say this tag dissapears when dismounted.Ģ: Arrow stats, or why its so hard to get good stats on ranged units: Units that have this tag: All Missile Cavalry (Yes, Gun cav can shoot through each others horses, and with enough range, they can fire over the shoulders of your other units,) and Archers. On firearms, this will make matchlock units gun through allies and themselves to kill the enemy, making them far more lethal to your own force, but the unit will also have immunity to its own bullets which will pass through harmlessly, making them also FAR more effective against the enemy, unsuprisingly.
